New York City-based company acKnowledge Digital Marketing is seeking a Senior Paid Strategist (Search & Social) to join our team in our fast growing digital marketing agency.

Founded in 2012, acKnowledge Digital (AKDM) is a New York City-based Digital Marketing agency that helps traditional and premium brands and businesses who are in need of digital marketing expertise but do not have the resources to manage an effective marketing campaign. We help companies develop customized strategies and execute strategic pans targeting their key performance indicators for success.

AKDM’s extensive offering spans SEO, Social Media, Display Planning, Analytics & Insights, SEM/PPC, Mobile Marketing, Business Intelligence, & Projection Modeling. Our roster includes a great mix of well-known brands and innovative startups such as: A&E Networks, Lifetime TV, History Channel, Vice, Chase, IKEA, Supergoop!, The Webster, Veronica Beard, RELATED, and many more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a leading channel voice in the creation of long/short term strategy and deliverables for clients
  • Oversee thorough completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by client/internal process
  • Optimize existing campaigns within Google and Bing, while also providing proactive recommendations
  • Implement and manage Search and Paid Social media campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat & more), using partner and agency best practices
  • Maintain open and productive communications with platform and vendor partners, ensuring our campaigns are of the highest standard
  • Create and update campaign progress reports for client
  • Analyze performance data and provide meaningful insights, keeping in mind other channel effects and big picture
  • Lead and train (search and social) strategists and encourage growth and professionalism; proactively seek to share new knowledge, learnings, test findings, and opportunities with larger paid media team
  • Participate in internal and external trainings to improve channel growth
  • Communicate channel optimizations, insights, and campaign updates to teams internal and external via email, phone, and in-person meetings

Competencies

  • Strong Excel skills a MUST
  • Keynote/PowerPoint Skills – ability to articulate strategy via contextual and visual slides

  • Google AdWords (Certification(s) Necessary)
  • Bing Ads
  • Facebook Business Manager
  • Twitter Ads
  • Search Ads 360
  • DoubleClick Campaign Manager
  • Google Analytics
  • Adobe Omniture optional
  • App Measurement Tools optional

Required Background

  • 4-Year college degree
  • 3-4 years of paid campaign management either brand side or at an agency required
  • Strong communication and writing skills – attention to detail
  • Creative thinker, assertive problem solver, and analytical master-mind
  • Proficient with website reporting analytics tools or a willingness to learn
  • Ability to analyze reports and make recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recognize and tell a story from data
