New York City-based company acKnowledge Digital Marketing is seeking an Account Manager to join our SEO team in our fast growing digital marketing agency.

Founded in 2012, acKnowledge Digital Marketing (AKDM) is a New York City-based Digital Marketing agency that helps traditional and premium brands and businesses who are in need of digital marketing expertise but do not have the resources to manage an effective marketing campaign.  We help companies develop customized strategies and execute strategic plans targeting their key performance indicators for success.

AKDM’s extensive offering spans SEO, Social Media, Display Planning, Analytics & Insights, SEM/PPC, Mobile Marketing, Business Intelligence, & Projection Modeling.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Account Manager on our SEO team to help manage an ever-growing client relationship, while maintaining the strategic quality AKDM has built its reputation on. As a crucial member of a young and nimble organization, you’d serve a participating role in the shaping of AKDM’s business growth.

Responsibilities

Client engagement
  • This role will be the principal point of contact for a single client in the financial services industry
  • Monitoring and communicating performance trending towards client KPI goals
  • Producing monthly, quarterly and yearly performance reviews that recap recent work, identify new opportunities, and outline any resulting changes in strategic direction
  • Setting up and leading weekly client status calls and ensuring that all materials are collected and distributed in advance
  • Ensuring that key insights are outlined in advance of status calls, and a concise summary of performance against client objectives and KPIs is provided
  • Maintaining regular contact with the client and stakeholders, and providing timely responses to requests
 Project Management
  • Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans
  • Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned. Work with project team and be actively involved in all aspects of the work
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on project goals
  • Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback
  • Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to clients, team members and senior management on a regular basis
  • Partner with project team leads to present work
Analytical and technical
  • Understanding and proficiency in SEO marketing tactics is highly preferred. Additional proficiency in analytics products, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, etc. to pull data and investigate findings
  • Ability to analyze data and draw insightful findings grounded in metrics across media channels
Key skills and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of digital agency experience in a Senior role either in Client Services / Account Management, Project Management, or Strategy
  • Deep understanding of the role and function of SEO marketing tactics and how they tie into clients’ broader business context
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills and ability to foster long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent project management and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to clients’ communication styles
  • Ability to proactively recognize and address client needs
  • Exceptional PowerPoint Skills – ability to articulate strategy via contextual and visual slides
