Responsibilities

Campaign Project Management

  • Support all aspects of day-to-day Client Strategy team. Provide support to Account Supervisor and VP of Client Strategy with their respective duties as needed
  • Ensure all campaign planning and execution aligns with client objectives, as well as best practices
  • Gather key information in project briefings to onboard and continuously update the wider project team
  • Provide daily account support to team leads and manage projects, including tracking performanceEnsure campaign performance reporting incorporates the correct metrics, delivers insightful findings, and includes items that map back to client objectives

Client Engagement

  • Communicate with a range of clients in various industry verticals across digital media teams
  • Monitor and communicate performance trending towards client revenue/KPI goals
  • Set up and leading weekly client status calls and ensuring that all materials are collected and distributed in advance
  • Ensure that key insights are outlined in advance of status calls, and a concise summary of performance against client objectives with KPIs is provided
  • Assist in the resolution of client problems, complaints and billing issues with the aid of relevant department heads

Analytical and Technical

  • Understanding of the roles that paid media channels play in the digital ecosystem, including SEO, Paid Search, Display (Acquisition, Prospecting and Remarketing, Email, Affiliate and Social
  • Understanding in marketing and analytics products, such as Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Business Manager etc to pull data and investigate findings
  • Ability to analyze data and draw insightful findings grounded in metrics across media channels
  • Understanding of procedural steps to onboard new clients and transition accounts from third parties to AKDM

Industry Research

  • Stay on top of trends within digital marketing, as well as client verticals
  • Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients’ business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting strategically focused programs and recommendations
  • Help create and maintain a database of industry research for agency-wide usage
  • Actively contribute to monthly industry trends newsletter

Competencies

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, project management, business analysis or advertising role or organization. Preferably in an agency setting or a related brand-side vertical (fashion, beauty, CPG, media)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Analytics or related field is preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and/or experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Understanding of the role of media
  • Interest in developing integrated marketing skills incorporating digital and social media
  • Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks
  • Comfort in a fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Working familiarity with project management tools like Asana and Trello is a plus
